Where Are They Now: Rachel and Tony VandeCastle

Some wedding days just stay with you, and Tony and Rachel’s celebration is definitely one of them. Their day was filled with so much joy, laughter, and the kind of energy that makes a wedding unforgettable.

When looking back, what stands out most to them is having all of their friends and family together in one place, simply having a great time together. While they said there were way too many memories to pick just one favorite, there is one part of the day they’d relive in a heartbeat:

“The party we threw on the dance floor!”

And honestly, it was such a fun one.

One of our favorite little details from their wedding day actually shows up in one of their favorite photos. Just two months before the wedding, Tony tore his ACL and had surgery, meaning he had to bring his knee brace along for the reception. If you look closely at the photo, you’ll spot him holding it up on the dance floor. Proof that nothing was going to stop him from celebrating that night.

Like many couples who’ve been through the wedding planning process, they also shared some advice for future couples:

“Don’t stress about the little things, they’ll work themselves out. All that matters is having a good time with people that you love. Your day will fly by!”

Since their wedding day, life has brought an exciting new chapter for their growing family. In October 2025, they welcomed their son, Callan, and continue life alongside their yellow lab, Otis.

When asked what they love most about this season of life, their answer was simple:

“All the new baby smiles and giggles!”

These days, family time looks a little different with a 7-month-old in tow, but they’re soaking up all the little moments together — playing outside, going for walks, and spending time with family and friends whenever they can.

One of the best parts of what we do is getting to see life continue beyond the wedding day. Watching Tony and Rachel step into this new season as parents has been so special, and we’re so grateful to still be a small part of their story.
